Dr. Lynne Hamilton

Meet Dr. Lynne Hamilton, as she Introduces and describes the vision of this exciting and timely ministry.
Lynne Hamilton was born in Lancashire, England, the eldest of four children in a close-knit family. Realising her talent at the age of fourteen, she joined a band called the Desperadoes, who worked with many of England's top rock band performers.

At age sixteen, Lynne was offered a place in “The Caravelles”, a chart-topping female singing duo. She accepted and toured extensively throughout England and Europe, appearing in most of the top nightspots and cabaret venues, as well as every major TV show. A veteran performer at age twenty-one, Lynne decided to retire from the music business and move to Australia.

Several years later Lynne accepted Jesus as her Saviour and responded to His call to take up her singing career once again – a calling that was to make Lynne the Australian success story of 1979. Her new solo career began when she released “On the Inside”, the theme song from the TV series “Prisoner Cell Block H.” The success of this program resulted in “On the Inside” receiving Gold Status, the No. 1 slot on the Music Charts, along with the coveted “Australian Record Industry Award” (ARIA) for the Best Song by a Female Artist that year. The song went on to achieve further success in 1989, when it rocketed to the No. 3 position of the UK Music Charts, coinciding with the launch of the TV series there. “Prisoner – Cell Block H” continues to enjoy success, still being shown both in Australia and in various countries throughout Europe.

Her musical career enabled Lynne to begin her ministry initially as an Evangelist. She has proclaimed the Gospel far and wide, in Australia, Europe and the USA, taking advantage of every opportunity the media has allowed to share the love of Jesus in her concerts and cabaret performances. Over the years, the Lord has used her to touch many people with the love of Jesus through her teaching, counseling and prophetic ministry. This powerful prophetic anointing on her life, and her sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, has enabled her to speak into the lives of individuals and to churches as a whole. In 2012, she was given an honorary 'Doctorate in Divinity' from Team Impact Christian University.
