GOD’S CALENDAR: DAY OF ATONEMENT

Belinda Jabore

A call to observe the appointed time of the Lord by Belinda Jabore, Women’s Apostolic Alliance member

God’s Calendar is vital and important to observe as God’s Messianic  Church Arises! As we come into the Day of Atonement which is the most  special day of the year, it is appointed by God and is the HOLIEST day  of the year.

Holy means “Set Apart, Special, Unlike any other. It is not a feast but a FAST!

(Quoted from Dr. Robert D. Heidler book Messianic Church Arising)

The day of Atonement is a day to humble yourself before God by fasting.

Complete  Jewish Study Bible Psalm 139:23-24 “Examine me, oh God, and know my  heart; test me and know my thoughts. See if there is in me any hurtful  way, and lead me along the eternal way”.

This year it falls on Sunset Sunday 27th September 2020.

Spend  quality time with Jesus’Yeshua and ask Him to show you the sins He  wants you to confess. I have done this exercise for several years now  and I certainly feel different, (like a load had been taken off) after  spending quality time with Him and confessing and repenting of my sin in  a deeper way and then putting 1 John 1:9 to it which says, “If we  acknowledge our sins, then since He is trustworthy and just, He will  forgive them and purify us from all wrongdoing.”

I would encourage you to do this on this special time in God’s calendar.

Write down on a sheet of paper all your sins He shows you.

Keep  asking Him, “Is there anything else Lord?” Until you know your list is  complete Then if you are not getting anything else from Him you are  ready to pray through your list, confessing and renouncing each sin.

Thank God that every sin is now confessed and forgiven by the Blood of Jesus-Yeshua! Tear up your list and destroy it!

You are Forgiven!

Complete Jewish Study Bible Isaiah 44:22 says, Like a thick cloud, I wipe away your offenses; like a cloud your sins.

Come back to Me, for I have redeemed you.

Teshuvah Hebrew meaning “to turn and “to return”.

 Return to the Lord
