A poem by Lynn Fowler, a member of Women’s Apostolic Alliance
Infinity
compressed to human skin
growing
where growth was
never needed.
Eternity
confined in time
moving
past present future
irreversible
when all points
had been now.
Omnipotence
reduced to weakness
helpless
dependent
Omnipresence
tied to three dimensions
locked
in the limitation
of finite space
Omniscience
embraces amnesia
a blank slate
for creation to write upon
The universe’s King
steps down to servanthood
humbled unto death
emptied willingly
